Fremont Public Library is not responsible for personal belongings left unattended anywhere on library property. Our procedures for storing and disposing of lost and found items are listed below for the clarity of patrons and staff.
In general, library staff will make reasonable attempts to reunite a lost item with its owner. After fourteen (14) days unclaimed items become Library property and may be donated to charity or discarded.
Except for documents left behind on the copiers, all items are held behind the Checkout Desk. Patrons who wish to check for their lost item may call the library or visit the Checkout Desk and give a detailed description of the item.
