Join the Fremont Public Library in Mundelein as a Page! The Page uses their skills to shelve, retrieve and organize materials, neaten the department by cleaning or straightening toys and equipment, and generally assist in presenting an area that is easy to navigate and a pleasure to use. This is one of the most crucial roles in the library; a misplaced book is a lost book. This is a great job for high school and college students! You must be at least 16 years old to work the required hours.
Required Hours: Two evening shifts (Monday - Thursday from 5PM - 9PM) and one weekend shift (Saturday - Sunday from 1PM - 5PM) for 12 hours/week.

Do you have customer service experience? Do you stay calm when technology doesn’t cooperate? The new opening at our library may be perfect for you! We are hiring an Associate to run our large adult programs and also staff the Adult Help Desk. Duties include working with our Adult Programs Associate to facilitate programs which occur at least twice a week. You will greet the performers, help them set up, greet patrons, and run the AV equipment which includes the projector, cameras and microphones. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with troubleshooting issues and be confident in speaking to audiences in person and online.
Required Hours: Two evenings per week (Monday and Wednesday 5-9pm), Friday 2-6pm and an additional 8 hours a week between Monday-Friday 9am-5pm for 20 hours/week. In addition, at least one weekend shift per month (Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 1-5pm) for an average of 24 hours per week over a month-long period.
Salary: $20-22 per hour depending on qualifications. This is a year-round part-time non-exempt position that works within a friendly team environment with great co-workers and management.
