Friends and Foundation

The Friends and Foundation of Fremont Public Library District is the main fundraising body and a 501c3 organization.  We believe that a good public library is vital to the intellectual, cultural and social growth of our community.

We organize and maintain the “Book Nook,” offering for sale donated and library withdrawn books, movies, music, audiobooks, and more.

We facilitate all monetary donations that come to the library, including those from the annual giving campaign.

Friends and Foundation members volunteer to organize the Book Nook to sell withdrawn items to the public. The proceeds directly benefit Fremont Public Library. We have a board that meets monthly and we are always looking for people with good ideas to join our group!

To become a member, fill out the form on the right. A member of the Friends and Foundation will be in touch soon!

Friends' Book Nook

The Friends encourage everyone to shop from the Nook under the stairs in the library whenever the library is open. There are prices on the books or signs with the suggested price, but anything you can give is welcome. You can put cash in the box or dinosaur, or pay online with a credit card or your PayPal account.

Monetary Donations

In addition to Donating Online, you can also make a donation via check or cash by printing and completing this form and mailing it with your donation to the Library or drop it off at any service desk inside.

Friends Membership Form

Volunteer with the Friends! Any new member becomes a volunteer with the Library as well. Once you fill out this interest form a member of the Friends & Foundation will be in touch soon!
