Join The Silverman Trio for a retrospective of the great Jewish composers' music, including George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Leonard Bernstein, and more.

The Silverman Trio boasts Barb Silverman, leader of The Teflons Country Swing Band and The Schticklers Jewish Jug Band among many others.  Her credits include Prairie Home Companion and Studs Terkel radio shows, and her vast decades-long performance and teaching experience span the Midwest and touch as far away as Finland.  She is identified as a master teacher.

Accompanying her is violin virtuoso Rick Veras who carries 40 years of study, performance, and teaching music on guitar, violin, mandolin , bass and ukulele.  Rick hails from theatre productions, jazz combos and every stripe of vintage and contemporary bands.

Rounding out the trio is the highly-in-demand master bass player Mitch Straeffer who has performed worldwide and whose resume in jazz, classical, swing and country bands surpasses all boundaries.

All three performers are steeped in the musical traditions of the great Jewish songwriters.
