In this slide lecture, art historian Jeff Mishur discusses the impact Luther and the Protestant movement had on the history of art. From the destruction of works of art (iconoclasm) during a time of religious turmoil to the impact of the Reformation and Counter Reformation on art throughout Europe, this program promises to offer insight into a remarkable moment in history.

Jeff Mishur is the owner of Art Excursions, a business that provides small group tours, travel consulting, lectures and private guiding. Mishur has his M.A. in Art History from Northern Illinois University and has taught at the university level for many years.
