The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek by Kim Michele Richardson. In 1936, Bluet is the last of the Kentucky Blues. In the Appalachian hills of Troublesome Creek, Bluet joins the Pack Horse Library Project of Kentucky, riding up treacherous mountains on a mule to deliver books to the hollers of Eastern Kentucky.
