A healthy relationship requires honest communication, trust, safety, and respect, and is based on equality. But do our children know what a healthy relationship really is?
As a parent or family member, you are critical in helping your child develop healthy relationships and providing life-saving support if they are in an abusive relationship.
All ages welcome. This program is presented in partnership with A Safe Place for Help.
FACTS ABOUT TEEN RELATIONSHIPS:
- Teens between the ages of 16 and 19 are 3.5 times more likely than the general population to be victims of rape or sexual assault.
- 1 in 3 high school students experience some sort of dating violence.
- 1 in 10 high school students has been purposefully hit, slapped, or physically hurt by a boyfriend or girlfriend.
