Stories of the Islands by Clar Angkasa is a graphic novel that retells three traditional Indonesian folktales with girls as the heroes of their own stories. Each tale shows strong female characters facing curses, family struggles, and monsters while learning to rely on their courage and independence to shape their own futures.
