Shibori is an ancient Japanese technique that uses folds, ties, and dye to create gorgeous patterns on cloth.
We will learn the basic techniques for various styles of Shibori dyeing while making scarves. Dye-ready scarves and a variety of dye colors will be available. Tools, safety equipment, and gloves will be provided, but please dress for the mess!
This hands-on program will take place outside (rain date: July 30).
Register beginning Saturday, June 9 in person, on-line, or over the phone. Registration is required. Ages 18+.
